Well, they did 4 levels in Homer's dream(3 Levels + Limbo) like in the movie Inception
And the scene where chief Wiggum fighting with professor Frink is the scene of the 2nd Level in the Final Cobb's "DREAM", where Arthur was fighting against enemies, while the others was in the LAST dream

hmm i've given this show a LOT of leighway this season despite disappointment after disappointment, the only parts i've actually enjoyed were the 24 Spoof and the message at the end of episode 200.I keep hoping for more but it's not going to happen clearly.
I know episodes take a long time to make but "pop culture" doesn't hang around as long nowadays as it used to in the 90's,things move a lot faster (not to my liking) however it makes "brand spanking new" episodes look rediculously dated by the time they are released.
